Managing Director

Safaruddin Ridzuan is the Founder and Managing Director of ASD GROUP SDN. BHD., with over a decade of hands-on experience in engineering and contracting. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2010 with the establishment of AS SAFA DAULAH ENTERPRISE, laying the operational foundation that led to the incorporation of ASD in 2017 as a fully Bumiputera-owned company. He provides strategic leadership across corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end project execution. Under his direction, ASD maintains disciplined operational control while ensuring strict adherence to TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and CIDB standards — positioning the company as a structured and reliable infrastructure partner.

Chief Executive Officer

Aziz Mashud is the Chief Executive Officer of ASD GROUP SDN. BHD., bringing a strong engineering background and extensive experience in the utilities and power generation sector. A graduate in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), he has been actively involved in large-scale utility and power infrastructure projects since 2008, including experience with multinational corporations. He leads ASD’s technical strategy, operational excellence, and smart energy integration initiatives. His expertise in smart metering systems, solar engineering, and infrastructure execution supports ASD’s role in delivering modern, compliant, and performance-driven utility solutions.

Capt. (R) Amaluz Zaman serves as Business Development Officer, contributing structured leadership and strategic coordination experience gained from his service as a retired Captain in the Royal Artillery Regiment. He plays a key role in stakeholder engagement, government-industry coordination, and strategic partnership development.
